The timing of the rally is such (one week after the UK international at Clermont-Ferrand in France so as to allow those who wish to attend both locations to do so. The gap of one week – not too long nor too short- creates an almost endless set of permutations of how it could be achieved from wherever the participants are home-based.
-
Own bike , attend France and then travel to Greece by ferry from Italy or through the Balkans
-
Fly/hire – rental companies in Lyon and Thessaloniki (the nearest locations to both rallies). Even fly from Lyon to Thessaloniki to hire bikes for both locations.
-
No bike at all – fly to Lyon or Thessaloniki and attend the rally by train for the social side only.
Anyone can build their own itinerary to suit their circumstances- the options are there !

Andreas Papadakis
