This service is free to members and is of invaluable assistance to those trying to uncover the history of their particular machine.
A fee of £16.00 is required from non-members with a UK postcode and £18.00 from those overseas.
Cheques should be made payable to the Royal Enfield Owners Club. You can pay by credit/debit card by phoning the membership secretary. The dating officer will receive confirmation that payment has been made. The phone number is on the membership form which you can download.

Tom BrayOr click on this link to email: REOC Machine Dating Officer
Please remember that the dating officer is an unpaid volunteer in full time employment, so you may not get a reply by return. If you need the certificate now, you really should have asked earlier!!
Note that a machine dating certificate is not sufficient to apply for the recovery of a UK registration number. Please click on the link at the top of the page for information on how to do this. It should, however, be sufficient for anyone resident overseas to prove the age of their Royal Enfield to their licensing authority (DMV) if necessary.
If you require verification only (buying a bike?), Jim may accept your phone enquiry between 19:00 -21:00 hours. You will find his phone no. in your membership pack.
